We will be discussing Room by Emma Donoghue. In many ways, Jack is a typical 5-year-old. He likes to read books, watch TV, and play games with his Ma. Kimberly-Little Chute Public Library Plan: 2011-2015
In January of this year, the library started a 7-month planning process to evaluate current programs and services, complete a community analysis, and develop a plan of service to guide the activities of the library over the next 5 years. You can read a summary of the plan (9 pages) or the complete plan (56 pages) which includes survey results, focus group notes, interview notes, and a number of other appendices.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this process! Your input was invaluable, and we now have a good plan in place to guide the future of the library. |

Got Books?
The Kimberly-Little Chute Public Library does, and they’re priced just right for you! Come on in and check out some great deals on used books in our ongoing book sale. Adult books, including fiction, nonfiction, biographies, and large print, are all priced at a very affordable $1.00 each. We also have plenty of paperbacks and older children’s books priced at $.50 each. All proceeds from the book sale go to the Friends of the Kimberly-Little Chute Public Library (FOLKS). The Friends then help fund programming, collections, and other special needs for the library.
Both library locations have an ongoing book sale, so you can stop by any time. The book sales are filled with materials removed from the library collection or from donations from community residents, so the content changes quite often. Consider recycling your reads and donating them to the library for the book sale! We welcome your donations, but do not accept encyclopedias, textbooks, or magazines. Your support, either in purchasing books or donating them for the sale, would be most welcome.
