WANTED: 4th-6th grade students looking to interact with peers through the enjoyment of reading. The Kimberly Library will host Chapter Chat on the second Tuesday of each month after school from 4:00-4:30 p.m. Club meetings will focus on book discussion and other fun activities. Please come with the month's selection read and be ready to share your thoughts.

The selection for October 10 is Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library by Chris Grabenstein. Twelve-year-old Kyle gets to stay overnight in the new town library, designed by his hero (the famous gamemaker Luigi Lemoncello), with other students but finds that come morning he must work with friends to solve puzzles in order to escape. Copies of the book will be set aside for pick-up at the Kimberly Library starting on September 10. We can't wait to see you in October!

We are thrilled to have children's author and musician Jim Gill perform at the Kimberly Library! Jim believes in the importance of family play which is reflected in his concerts. Enjoy an active sing-along and clap-along as Jim bangs out energetic rhythms on his banjo while everyone claps, jumps, dances and even sneezes along.

The concert will be filled with songs and stories from Jim’s award-winning recordings and books for young children
The evening will be a joyful musical experience for children and adults –parents, grandparents and caregivers- to share together. Thank you to the family of Kay Taylor for their generous sponsorship of Jim Gill's concert in remembrance of their loving mother and grandmother.
