Discover a wide variety of splendid stories from classic tales to newer picture books during this seven-week session of story time for preschoolers and their parents/caregivers. Early literacy concepts such as letter recognition, counting, coloring, and shapes will be covered. Music and fun are added bonuses! Margaret Murphy is an educational consultant specializing in learner data and curriculum development. She has a passion for writing and enjoys the seclusion of her cottage up north to enjoy both the outdoors and writing. With a BA in Philosophy and an MS in Educational Leadership, Margaret fuses both these disciplines into not only adventure stories, but also the writing process itself. Her first publication, Awake Island – an outdoor adventure novel, brings readers to the chain of lakes region in Waupaca for adventure, love, and mystery!

Benjamin Percy is the author of four novels – most recently, The Dark Net (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2017) – two books of short stories and a craft book called Thrill Me: Essays on Fiction (Graywolf Press, 2016). His fiction and nonfiction have been read on National Public Radio and published by Esquire, GQ, Time, Men’s Journal, the Wall Street Journal, and the Paris Review. He writes the Green Arrow and Teen Titans series for DC Comics, and James Bond for Dynamite Entertainment. His honors include an NEA fellowship, a Whiting Award, the Plimpton Prize, two Pushcart Prizes and inclusion in Best American Short Stories and Best American Comics.
