Pooches & Pages: Read to a Therapy DogPractice your reading skills in a fun and furry way by reading to a therapy dog. The Ins and Outs of the Social Security Income...Attorney Don Chewning will give an informational talk and be available to answer general questions about the Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income programs. He will share background information on the programs, including the basic legal requirements and procedures. This event is informational only, free and open to the public. Classic Movie MondayEnjoy a free afternoon at the movies! Join us for Alfred Hitchcock's adaptation of the classic novel by Daphne Du Maurier. A vacationing young lady meets, falls in love with, and marries handsome and wealthy widower Maxim de Winter. He takes his new bride home to his estate, Manderley. But the new Mrs. de Winter finds her married life dominated by the sinister, almost spectral influence of Maxim's late wife, Rebecca, who still rules from beyond the grave. Meet Author Gordon KormanWe are thrilled to bring popular children's author Gordon Korman to the library! Gordon has written over 80 books for kids and teens, including series such as Swindle, The Hypnotists, Masterminds, and the 39 Clues, as well novels like Ungifted and No More Dead Dogs. Gordon will share how he became a writer, talk about his new projects, and answer questions from the audience.  Books will be available for purchase, and Gordon will autograph books after his presentation.
