Friends of the Library
Kimberly-Little Chute Public Library is blessed to have an active and committed Friends group, also known as FOLKS. Learn more about FOLKS and become a member today.
The library welcomes volunteer help and has a wide variety of opportunities available. Many offer flexible hours and tasks to suit specific interests. Our volunteers help with programming, assist with keeping materials in order, help with special projects, and shelve materials. Learn more about volunteering at the library.
Donations to the library are always welcome and can be given for the general needs of the library or for specific projects or collection development to be agreed upon by the Library Director and the donor. Donations are tax-deductible, and a letter acknowledging your donation will be provided for tax purposes. No amount is too large or too small! bcarpent [at] mail [dot] owls [dot] lib [dot] wi [dot] us (subject: Question%20from%20website%20about%20donations) (Contact the Library Director) for more information.
Used Book Sale
Got books? The Kimberly-Little Chute Public Library does, and they’re priced just right for you! Come on in and check out some great deals on used books in our ongoing book sale. Adult books, including fiction, nonfiction, biographies, and large print, are all priced at a very affordable $1.00 each. We also have plenty of paperbacks and older children’s books priced at $.50 each. All proceeds from the book sale go to the Friends of the Kimberly-Little Chute Public Library (FOLKS). The Friends then help fund programming, collections, and other special needs for the library.
Both library locations have an ongoing book sale, so you can stop by any time. The book sales are filled with materials removed from the library collection or from donations from community residents, so the content changes quite often.
Consider recycling your reads and donating them to the library for the book sale! We welcome your donations, but do not accept encyclopedias, textbooks, or magazines. Your support, either in purchasing books or donating them for the sale, would be most welcome.
