Join us for a viewing of the film, "Wonder Women! The Untold Story of American Superheroines." From the comic book superheroine to the blockbusters of today, this film offers a fun and witty look at how popular representations of powerful women often reflect society's anxieties about women's liberation. Discussion after the film will be facilitated by Alison Gates, Associate Professor and Women & Gender Studies Art Program Chairperson, with the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay.

This program is provided in partnership with the Wisconsin Historical Society, Wisconsin Public Television, Wisconsin Humanities Council, University of Wisconsin Women's Studies Consortium, and the Friends of the Kimberly-Little Chute Public Library.
